In Memoriam: Spacecraft Gone but Not Forgotten
It's no secret that spacecraft aren't easy or cheap to build. They are incredibly complex machines that need to be able to withstand the extreme conditions of space, travel millions of kilometers, while still being able to send signals to Earth, letting us know the status and health of the spacecraft.
There is little margin for error, and humans aren't perfect - so this equation results in some missions becoming unsuccessful and spacecraft going missing. We're here to pay tribute to some of these spacecraft, doomed to wander the Solar System; forever alone.
