"Incredible Hulk" Comet Approaches Earth Today
Don't worry, Hulk won't SMASH. This PanSTARRS comet is still 70 million miles away and heading for the sun. According to OuterPlaces:
Visibility is an issue right now because of the comet's proximity to the sun, but LiveScience reports that skywatchers may be able to see it again in late August after it makes the trip around our brightly shining star.
The green hue is the result of cyanide and carbon molecules being ionzied by the warmth of the sun, separating protons and electrons.
